Envisioning the Future of On-Demand Air Transportation
UBER Air aims to have it's first on-demand air travel demonstration to the public in year 2020. In a multidisciplinary team of 4 of interaction design, graduate transportation system design and graduate industrial design students, we were challenged to envisioned the future of on-demand air travel and design a holistic system of eVTOL, Skyport and Mobile interface to deliver a safe, hassle-free and convenient experience for busy commuters in Dallas, Dubai and Los Angeles.

Today, there are 185 million Youtube subscribers in the US and 1.9 billion worldwide. Both domestically and globally, Youtube user basis grew at an average of 10% over the past 3 years and expected to continue in grow mobile user segment.
ADDRESSABLE MARKET SIZE

There are 15 million YouTubers and Vloggers in the US and roughly 50 million worldwide who feeds content to viewers and subscribers. YouTubers build online presence and subscriber basis to generate views and income through ads.
PROBLEM 1 : EXPENSIVE

Consistently producing high quality content for individuals require talents and crew, and a video production system or set can range anywhere from $800-3,000 to purchase.

PROBLEM 2 : COMPLICATED

Great audio, lighting and composition is key to creating any high quality content. As individuals and small businesses, maneuvering the complexities is unattainable.
PROBLEM 3 : TIME CONSUMING

Production of high quality content, especially post production takes a long time. Creating a 5 minute long video clip can take up to a week of post production time.

There is an opportunity to build a different video production system that allows creators/producers to focus on what he/she is doing, be spontaneous, and efficiently and consistently produce high quality content.
