Nichole Rouillac shared her care and love for her clients, designers and work. Before diving into the work she opened up with a little story of how they connected, the wonderful conversations that they had and how they have built a delightful relationship.
Nichole shared her journey with Mary Lou Jepsen, a women in hardware development in the Bay Area(hard to find), and the excitement and joy she felt when her role model reached out.
She shared 3 projects briefly and she was okay with being vulnerable/human in front of the audience. "We just put this case together, so if you see any typos, can you please point it out?" An invitation to be casual.
Throughout the presentation Nichole gave credit and weight to the designers. Our designers "worked so hard", "knows a lot more", "Can speak better". This showed me the mutual respect that existed. After a quick walkthrough, she passed the reign over to the designers to speak for the work; giving them the room to shine.
